Woody biomass
Proven, Not Promised.
The Integrated Biorefinery Company turns woody biomass into renewable fuels through our single-step conversion process. Renewable diesel is the fuel today. Because our fuel already meets ASTM D975 (diesel), THEIBCO qualifies for an expedited SAF approval pathway. The pathway is designed to be carbon negative.

What we do
Renewablefuels
Woody biomass is refined into renewable diesel today. Because our fuel already meets ASTM D975 (diesel), THEIBCO qualifies for an expedited SAF approval pathway.
The first wholly-owned facility is planned in Georgia.

What we do
Oneconversion step
Our single-step conversion process converts woody biomass. No purchased hydrogen is required. The reactor modules are identical and factory-built, and a plant grows by adding modules rather than by enlarging one unit.
The facility can generate its own electricity when needed, for its own use. It is energy self-sufficient and able to supply its own power. On-site electricity is a self-supply capability, not a product for sale.

Founders

David Voyticky
Co-Founder & Co-CEO
David J. Voyticky is a Co-Founder of THEIBCO, which is commercializing a proven single-step pyrolysis technology that turns woody biomass and organic waste into renewable diesel, sustainable aviation fuel, green hydrogen and biochar. He co-founded the company with Chris Headrick and Dr. Sam Weaver of Proton Power, and brings more than 30 years of M&A, restructuring and financing experience in the U.S. and abroad.
David began his career in investment banking as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Houlihan Lokey and as an Associate at J.P. Morgan in London and New York. He went on to found Red Mountain Capital Partners and was a partner in the $300 million relaunch of Chapman Capital.
As President and a Board Member of Miller Energy Resources (NYSE: MILL), he grew annual revenue from a few million dollars to over $70 million, cut the cost of capital from 25% to under 5%, led the company's acquisitions in Alaska and took its market value from $3 million to nearly $1 billion. As a Board Member of Iovance Biotherapeutics (IOVA), he led its restructuring and negotiated its core technology license; Iovance is now worth over $3 billion.
As co-founder of the venture studio Venerable Holdings, David built businesses around sustainable energy, healthcare and agricultural technology in the Americas and Africa, and was an early investor in and advisor to the developer of THEIBCO's pyrolysis technology. He serves on the boards of Max International, Victory Clean Energy and African Power Initiatives, and holds a J.D., an M.B.A. and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Philosophy from Pomona College.

Chris Headrick
Co-Founder & Chief Commercialization Officer
Chris has spent more than 30 years answering one question: does the energy pencil out?
He entered the industry in 1989 consolidating coal, oil and gas leases, which meant assembling scattered positions into blocks that could produce and could be financed. In 2006 he founded Americas Energy Company, a publicly traded oil, gas and coal operator in Kentucky and Tennessee, and served as its CEO. There he managed capital structure, production cost per unit and the margin between them. He later served as Senior Advisor for Mergers and Acquisitions at Miller Energy Resources, evaluating acquisitions in Alaska's Cook Inlet and on the North Slope on their economics, not their story.
In 2009 Chris discovered the biomass pyrolysis technology behind THEIBCO and became its first outside investor. He backed it not because it was clean but because its costs could compete without subsidies. In 2015 he founded H2 Energy Group, now Victory Clean Energy, which continues to develop that technology for affordable green hydrogen. As Co-Founder of THEIBCO, he is taking the same technology to commercial scale. Proven, Not Promised: it has run for more than 19,000 operating hours.
His conviction is simple: the energy transition will be decided on price, and the technology that wins will be the cheapest, not the greenest.
